Sarit is the Talent Acquisition Team leader at CHEQ. She joined our Fight Against the Fake Web in 2021.
Why did you join the fight against the fake web?
I came from the advertising and marketing world before. When I heard about CHEQ through Toby, our VP of Human Resources, and she introduced me to the company, I knew this was it. The solution we have for this important problem in the digital world is amazing. I was shocked because I knew the problem existed before, but to see the solution.. for me it was like – how I didn’t know this before. Besides, knowing that I’m on the good side of technology makes my job way easier. Being moved by the purpose of fighting the fake web is something I’m proud of, for myself and for being able to share with the people we bring to our team.
How does your role enable the fight against the fake web?
I think it helps a lot. My team and I build the teams that are fighting the fake web. In a year and a half, we recruited almost 200 new CHEQers to our team. We need to bring the best professionals, and professionals with motivation, that want to make an impact, grow and fight on our side. The most important asset we have at CHEQ is the people.
How has your perception of the fake web changed since you joined CHEQ?
The awareness of how to fight it has for sure grown.
What do you appreciate most about working at CHEQ?
The more I think about it, I come to the conclusion it’s the people. It’s a very bottom-up environment. Each and everyone feels included and very significant to our product and the company’s success. Of course, we have top technology, the product is incredible and we solve an important problem. But beyond that, in our day-to-day, we are working on a significant purpose with amazing people, from whom we can learn a lot about not just cybersecurity and technology, but also tolerance and humanity.
