Avi Pasternak is the EMEA Sales Director at CHEQ. He joined our Fight Against the Fake Web back in 2020.
Why did you join the fight against the fake web?
CHEQ is moved by a clear purpose, offering a solution to an important problem on the internet today. Understanding this and the advantages that the company has on the market, being a leader in this cybersecurity category, made me sure of my decision in joining this fight. Besides, as a Sales Director, the best thing you can have is a product that sells itself. And that is the case with CHEQ.
How does your role enable the fight against the fake web?
My team and I are responsible for the company’s growth. We have the greatest talents behind us, which allows us to sell this great product. We show prospects the reality of what they are facing on the internet today and how this impacts their Go-To-Market strategies. Their decision after that is clear. There is no magic: use the tool and you will see what you got.
How has your perception of the fake web changed since you joined CHEQ?
I came from a cyber security background so I had a deep knowledge of it. When I came across CHEQ, however, I understood the potential of the solution we had in our hands. Also, as with everything, especially with Cyber, it is an ongoing learning process. So every day we understand more about different types of fraud and their impact.
What do you appreciate most about working at CHEQ?
The trust the company has in us. This is translated into a great work-life balance and the flexibility to work from anywhere I choose.
