Mamo Tesema is the Technical Lead at CHEQ. He joined our Fight Against the Fake Web back in 2018.
Why did you join the fight against the fake web?
I joined it 4 years ago. At that time already, I saw how important and impactful our product was. For me, being able to contribute to its constant development was important, as still is today. Also, for technology developers, is very meaningful when you can be part of a company that is moved by a higher purpose and that is actually shaping for better the future of the internet.
How does your role enable the fight against the fake web?
From understanding new ways to find fraud and traffic to coding, improving technology, and more, my team and I take a great part in continuously developing CHEQ’s product. I think, in this sense, our contribution really creates an impact on the company and we are proud of it.
How has your perception of the fake web changed since you joined CHEQ?
I have been here for 4 years, so you can be sure my understanding of the Fake Web grew. We also work in a learning environment, so my team and I keep being challenged and improving more every day.
What do you appreciate most about working at CHEQ?
The people and how we are all working with each other, collaborating and learning regardless of what someone’s title is.
