Sivan Komornik is the Operations Manager at CHEQ. She joined our Fight Against the Fake Web in April 2019.
Why did you join the fight against the fake web?
I was motivated by the chance to grow with the company. Of course, there were other companies where I could do the same, so I could have gone to a different workplace. But the impact of working in a company that is moved by values and a clear purpose is something important for me, and I found that at CHEQ. Also, the pink floor we had was amazing.
How does your role enable the fight against the fake web?
I think I’m a real enabler because, if you think about it, my customer is actually the CHEQ team. So my team and I do what we can to make everyone’s work the best and easiest possible. I believe when you work in a structured and functioning office it helps you to work better and enjoy your daily routine.
How has your perception of the fake web changed since you joined CHEQ?
I think since I joined CHEQ, I got more aware of cybersecurity in general and its importance in our daily lives. When it comes to the Fake Web, I knew bots and fake users were a problem, but I had no idea of how big of a problem they were. It’s part of my day-to-day now, so you end up getting more aware.
What do you appreciate most about working at CHEQ?
Because of my role, I end up working and interacting with everyone. This is something I really appreciate. The people here are the key to our success.
