Tiffany Stelman is a senior customer success manager at CHEQ. She joined our Fight Against the Fake Web back in 2021. Previously, she worked in companies like Namogoo and Optimove.
Why did you join the fight against the fake web?
When choosing where to work, I was looking for something that I could relate to, something that I believed in. When I heard about CHEQ, besides having a global footprint, the purpose of fighting the fake web was something I felt related to. I saw there was a clear opportunity to help other people and companies. They really benefit from what we do. I’m not trying to sound like “Mother Theresa”, of course the relevance of the product and the opportunity are also great, but the company culture built around this purpose is something really relevant and that I can enjoy every day. Basically, a good part of the day you spend working, so you need to do something that you believe in.
How your role enables the fight against the fake web?
I think as customer success we have a really crucial part in this fight. We make sure that everything that the company releases actually serves our clients in the best way. We are the intersection between the clients and the product. When people talk about things like product-led growth, we are a big part of it.
How has your perception of the fake web changed since you joined CHEQ?
Like everyone, I was aware that there are bots or, you know, malicious human activity going on on the Internet. But I didn’t know what was the scale of it and the numerous other types of threats out there until I joined CHEQ.
What do you appreciate most about working at CHEQ?
I appreciate many things. The challenge, autonomy, the people, collaboration, and more.
But mostly, I appreciate the fact that whenever I come to the office, you can feel that everyone WANTS to be there and enjoy what they do. I think it trickles down from leadership and I appreciate the fact that they care about this.
