CHEQ has today named Assaf Dar as the company’s new Chief Product Officer.
Dar joins CHEQ after serving as the Chief Product Officer of Israeli cybersecurity unicorn Checkmarx, where he led the company’s product strategy, product management, and R&D. Prior to Checkmarx, Assaf served as the Chief Product Officer at Perion’s (NASDAQ: PERI) Codefuel, where he led strategy, product and innovation, after holding senior positions at Conduit and CA Technologies (a Broadcom Company).
The appointment comes on the heels of additional senior management hires at CHEQ, from leading SaaS companies like Sisense and Datorama. Dar will be tasked with leading CHEQ’s product efforts, strategy, and innovation across its enterprise, mid-market, and SBM suite of solutions.
“I’m absolutely thrilled to be joining CHEQ, one of the most exciting and promising SaaS companies out there today. The application of cybersecurity to digital advertising is fascinating, and the company’s vision of becoming the immune system of digital media is truly compelling,” said Assaf. “CHEQ’s impressive growth in 2020 has attracted highly talented and experienced executives from the world’s leading SaaS companies, a fact which itself inspires great confidence in the future of this company.”
CHEQ Founder and CEO, Guy Tytunovich, added: “I’m delighted to welcome such a well-respected product leader like Assaf to the CHEQ leadership team. He brings with him a wealth of experience in product and R&D strategy, vision, marketing, and management, at the highest level of the cybersecurity and SaaS industries – something we stand to benefit from greatly. Assaf’s appointment will allow us to further expand CHEQ’s offerings to new channels while preserving our innovative and technological edge in the market.”
CHEQ’s award-winning ad-fraud and click-fraud prevention solutions span all major advertising channels, from programmatic display and video, to paid search, paid social, CTV, and more. In 2020, the company received multiple accolades, including Ad Fraud Solution of the Year (The Drum) and Search Product of the Year (The Drum), and was named a “Gartner Cool Vendor” in the “AI for Marketing” category.
